Here's a mostly modern collection of many types of poetry examples we offer not only our own poems but also other unique poets. Consider this an online journey through poetry with many genres and varied styles. Poets Pensieve seems to be gathering a growing collection some brought to you by the sites editor / author. Some of the classic poets that have long since passed away but their writings books and poetry still live on. Pensieve's work seems to consist mainly of short rhyming poems some of which is not considerd to have poetic form, with this in mind the quote below from John Keats applies to much of the poetry within Poets Pensieve.

Poets Pensieve is a living breathing entity in it's own right. Coming soon links to free poetry contests which answers the question, Where can I find a poetry contest? Pensieve will not be linking to any poetry contest scams, Pensieve links will be to reputable well established sites with free entry to the poetry contests and no charge to the person or persons entering.
There are also collections of poems donated by friends and fellow writers which are not available for you to replicate on your own websites, they are subject to copyrights.
The poetry within this site is not all royalty free, consent has been given for me to use some for content. My free poems and poetry can be found Here. The bulk of this site is currently undergoing a major overhaul word games will be added, writing resources, scripts to generate poetry basically as many things as fit the theme of the site including, pages that will attempt to give an indepth explanation of poetry and the various styles and methods used for writing.
