First and foremost, I want to thank you for visiting my poetry website. I hope you find the free poems, poetry and games on this site both entertaining and easy to understand. My main goal was to build a website dedicated to my own personal poetry, and to present them in such a manner that even the most “illiterate” person could understand and follow. I've actually used friends as guinea pigs, and I know that if they can fathom and enjoy my poems and poetry, pretty much anyone else can as well.
My name is Peter, and I am neither a graduate of University nor Academic in any sense. I have always written poems and poetry, yet never had the courage to display them. The internet provides enough anonymity to display poetry without harsh critique.
As soon as I realised people actually enjoy some of my poetry I became obsessed with creating this website. I quickly noticed many of the popular poetry sites were very much the same thing. Short sweet love poems, Valentines poems all the similar categories and styles. I asked myself, if I wanted to replicate this or try, maybe in vain, to avoid this. A secondary goal, which has arisen from creating this poetry website, is to enable other unknown poetic authors to have their work displayed.
