Poets Pensieve collection of classic poets and classic rhyming poems from Lord Byron to Oscar Wilde and many more comming soon. Selected classic rhyming poems will shortly be added to each classic poets section alongside the short description page. There are many types of poet but the classic poets pages within Poets Pensieve are a dedicated resource for the classic and is constantly evolving.


George Gordon Byron, later Lord Byron. Born 22nd January 1788 in London, England. Died in Messolonghi, Greece aged 36 on the 19th April 1824. Lord Byron could be described as a true poet and revolutionary with a love of romanticism.



Charlotte Bronte born on 21st April 1816 in Thornton, Yorkshire, England. She died not far from where she was born in Haworth,Yorkshire, England on 31st March 1855 aged 38.



John Keats born on the 31st October 1795 in Moorgate, London, England. Growing up in London in an underprivileged family under the care of his Grandmother, he was a literary romantic and often came under scrutiny from his peers.



Oscar Wilde born on the 16th October 1854 in Dublin Ireland and became an acclaimed poet, novelist and playright. Oscar Wilde died in Paris France on the 30th November 1900 aged 48.
